Economist Service Scholarship in Economics for Singapore Citizens, 2014

Ministry of Trade and Industry is offering undergraduate scholarship in Economics at top universities in the USA, UK and Singapore. Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents intending to take up citizenship can apply for this scholarship. Scholarship covers tuition fees and other approved charges, maintenance and other allowances, airfare and possible sponsorship of Master’s degree. Application must be submitted by online.
Study Subject(s): The scholarship is awarded in economics in top universities overseas and locally. Joint degrees, such as Philosophy, Politics and Economics, may also be considered.
Course Level: This scholarship is offered for pursuing undergraduate studies at top universities in the USA, UK and Singapore. Applicants may also be sponsored for a Masters degree immediately upon graduation.

Eligibility: Candidates should:
•Be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents intending to take up citizenship
•Possess either GCE ‘A’ levels (attempted at least 11 academic units), International Baccalaureate, Polytechnic Diploma with merit or equivalent
•Have good co-curricular activities (CCA) record
•Have strong leadership qualities
•Have a keen interest in the application of economics to the analysis of public policies
Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents intending to take up citizenship are eligible for this scholarship.
Scholarship Description: The ES scholarship is a scholarship tied to the Economist Service. It was launched in 2011 by MTI to attract promising young talent to become public sector economists. You may apply for the ES scholarship if you are applying for undergraduate studies in Economics in top universities overseas and locally. As an ES scholar, you may also be sponsored for a Masters degree immediately upon graduation.
