-not have completed the same or higher level of program, e.g. if you plan to study a Bachelor of Journalism, you should not have previously completed another bachelor degree

Scholarship Description: This scholarship was created in memory of Jacob and Charlotte Kahane. Charlotte Kahane was a former RMIT University student, graduating with a Diploma of Arts (Journalism) in 1978. She faced many challenges during her lifetime but ultimately lived a rewarding and successful life. She was born on 30 October 1926 in Lutsk in the western Ukraine. She was the only member of her immediate family to survive the Holocaust. Following the war she met and married Jacob Kahane and in 1950 they both immigrated to Australia from Germany. If you are passionate about journalism and have the will to succeed, this scholarship can provide financial assistance towards your living and study costs.
