Lightweight Vehicle Structures Research Scholarship in Australia, 2014

The School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering along with the AutoCRC is offering research scholarships in lightweight vehicle structures. Applicant must be enrolled in a postgraduate research (PhD) degree within the School of Aerospace, Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering at RMIT and have experience in CAE and Finite Element analysis. The scholarship is valued at $25,000 per annum (tax free) for 3 years plus $10,000 to support an internship in Germany for the first year. The application deadline is 31 October 2013.

-be an Australian Citizen, Australian permanent resident or an international student
-have completed 1st class honours (or equivalent)
-be able to commence full time in Semester 1, 2014
-have experience in CAE and Finite Element analysis
-enrol in a postgraduate research (PhD) degree within the School of Aerospace, Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering at RMIT.

Terms and condition: During the course of the PhD research program the successful candidate will be required to spend a semester in Ingolstadt (Germany) to undertake particular research activities at the University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt and in Audi. This valuable global research experience is being supported through the AutoCRC international student internship program.
